Amata Power (Bangpakong) Combined Cycle
Power Plant is AMATA POWER LIMITED’s second power plant in
the Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate. The planned construction
of this project consists of two separate phases. The first,
a combined cycle power plant with a generating capacity of
114 MW, was completed and began operation in October 2001.
Of the total production, 90 MW is dispatched to the Electricity
Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) under that Small Power
Producer (SPP) Program. The remaining energy is sold to industrial
users in the estate.
